Thank you for opening my eyes.

I saw this on tv and almost started crying. They just-- They can't do that! I'm speechless, really. I just want to start screaming and swearing! "You all make us proud to be human beings"?! What the hell! I've never been more ashamed.

I'm sick of trying to explain this. It only makes sense in Greece, of course. To be short, it's [a building where you go for] extra lessons that you take to pass the final exams, and go to university or something. You just go somewhere else and do exactly the same things you do in school.
At the end of the day, most students don't study for school. Well i don't. And don't get the ones who do.
Teachers at school are well aware of that and sometimes take for granted that everyone already says the stuff they're supposed to say (they're not far from right, actually. Everyone goes to a φροντιστήριο) and don't bother explaining much. x)

[we have more subjects at school, but nobody cares since they won't count much at the final exams]
